This blog will be a journal of my husband and my adoption process. We are adopting from Kazakhstan and we cannot wait to build our family. So, follow along and share in our wonderful experience.

My name is Rachel and my husband is Ryan. We began the journey to adopt our son, Mason in 2005. We traveled to Kazakhstan in July/September 2006 to bring Mason home. We began another journey in early 2007 to bring home a little girl from Guatemala. Once she is home our family will be complete. We are truly blessed and thankful to have our children. They make our life worth while. I keep a page from a magazine on our refrigerator that says "This is our purpose" with a picture of a sleeping baby lying on their parents shoulder. That is the truth! We hope to raise our children with love and understanding of all walks of life, not just their own. There is much more to the world and life than our comfort zone. I hope they grow to understand this and if ever they wanted, we would travel with them to their birth countries to explore their heritage.

OLD SCHOOL RYAN!
Between you and me and this blog...the Brewers won't beat Seattle....or Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh won 13 games on the road this year...now they won 15 after MILWAUKEE.
oh....and Lance Bass is gay...came out this week....US bike rider won the Tour De France....tested positive for something bad....Packers mini camp starts today....AJ is ALMOST signed....Will Ferrel is RICKY BOBBY in a new movie coming out....he drives for WONDER BREAD...and has 2 kids named, Walker and I think Texas Ranger...friend of Kylies got mad about being in the play house...opted for a nearby window...15 inches away...the door was 19 inches away. Has to bust through the plexi glass first...my word verification today is...mytrbbu...how ironic (don't you think) that was nick name in grade school?

Great pic's we all just can't wait until you have a get together for the meet of our wonderful new addition. Time usually flies by but it is not now. Hugs and Kisses to you three, and the love.
